Ironic that I took a breed test bc I have been really wanting a dog but I don’t want to just get A dog and I got one of my favorite breeds.
Trying to post more stuff here.
The Luteces were the best part of Bioshock Infinite for me, no contest. And since there are several stylized promo covers but not a single one of them features these glorious bastards, I decided to make one myself.
So these are several variants for said picture I sketched today. Decided on the red one, so it’s coming up. One day. I am very slow.
Ugh these are gorgeous
these are wonderful! I think you captured their character perfectly!
Today is the 18th anniversary of the OKC bombing. I wasn’t even 3 when it happened, so I don’t remember the day, but I remember the aftermath very well. After what happened, OKC just kind of fell into a slump. We did come together as a community, but the city itself was ruined. It wasn’t until probably the last 7 or so years that people even cared about Bricktown again. I look at where we are now and it makes me pretty emotional. We got the Devon Tower, the Peake, and our own fucking NBA team. We have a unique culture that other parts of the country write off but we know how special our city is. I know I say I hate Oklahoma but I don’t. We’re nice to each other, we love to support our local artists and musicians and business, and we’re fiercely loyal to our ideals and sports teams (ha). Politics aside, it’s wonderful.
I don’t know. I’m rambling. But with everything that’s happening lately, we Okies get it. It shatters my heart every time. America has a problem with violence and it’s only getting worse.
I’m sad today, but it also reminds me of how proud I am of OKC.
Seeing these photos made me really emotional. My nose burns as I’m typing this. Everything that’s happened this week makes me just so sad because it feels like EVERY YEAR someone tries to “top” this. No tragedy is worse than another, period. A tragedy is a tragedy. I was only 5 when it happened, but I’ve lived through the aftermath, and that’s enough.
White terrorism exists, and the Murrah bombing is proof of that.
